I bought these cables to replace the cables that came with my Halo portable breakout box; The cables that came with my Halo broke on the third use. These replacement cables are much thicker and stronger than the original cables and work great. I highly recommend them if you need them. The item arrived quickly and I'm actually considering buying a second set as the price is great!

I used these cables as an alternative to the 22 Jump Starters on my weego. I had to reverse the wire clamp so the red was on the black wire and the black was on the red wire, and also use heat shrink tubing to cover the red wire so it looked black. Just make sure when using this configuration on your portable launcher that you don't accidentally bypass the device's safety circuitry by touching the black and red terminals together, which could short out and potentially damage the device.

These will replace the cables that came with the cheap starter box I had lying around for a while. It works great BUT is missing an important safety feature as there is no diode bank on the positive terminal to prevent catastrophic damage to one or both batteries from overcharging or reverse polarity. The positive side of this is that both the voltage and current output are slightly higher, so the car will start faster, but the risk of damaging the battery is higher. Be careful!
