Great little project boxes

I used some of these boxes in a few sizes to enclose some of the projects I built for clients. I found them easy to work with and easy for my laser cutter and machining tools to cut and engrave. For engraving, I had to add a masking layer to allow easy use of high contrast paint to make the engravings stand out but the masking sheets stuck well to the boxes. The only drawback I saw to this design is that there is no 'top' without holes near the corners to present a more finished look. I solved…

Durable. Not as cosmetically perfect as photos show.

These are well constructed, very sturdy with thick plastic and a tongue and groove gasket design. Mine have some minor "denting" on all 4 sides where the material seems to have strunk away from the mold when manufactured, and there are some minor scratches. Not a big deal unless you need them to have a perfect appearance.

I ordered a few of them for my electronic projects. The plastic is thick enough to provide enough support for outlets, buttons, knobs, fans, or a small display.I didn't try the water proof feature so I can't comment on that. That said, it looks like it might work if heat dispensing is not a problem in your climate.

Functional, inexpensive.

I'm using this small JB for an in-home alarm system. It's small, but more than big enough for my project. Better yet, it's very inexpensive. Got it done & working perfectly now.Note: this is a sturdy box with walls thick enough so that it's quite rigid. No wishy-washy flexation! I recommend this box.

Very sturdy box. on my review.

The useable inside space to mount a circuit board is reduced because of the posts to secure the lid, so make sure you allow for that when selecting this enclosure. Otherwise, it's a great box.

Excellent, and very high quality.

Fabulous - hands down the best project boxes I’ve purchased on ebay. They are well made; each of them features a gasket to ensure a watertight seal, and screws that drive into a metal seat for durability. The point is this: these are really well made. If you need something truly waterproof, this is what you’ve been looking for.
