Pretty cheap. To be honest, I can't say whether he's doing anything. It seems that new or old is the same in terms of smell.

Purchased to replace the filter in my GE Microwave. I didn't even know there were filters. These worked perfectly and fit well. Best of all, they were way cheaper than GE's website!

Very well built. I wish they were printed where it was made while trying to buy American made stuff. Failing that, I'm 100% made in China, and its quality is suspicious of cheap materials and cheap labor.

Looks like a good filter. Unfortunately this is the wrong size. The GE manual for my JVM7195DK1BB lists this and not the 81H which I currently have ordered. For $10, it's not worth messing around with yields. The delivery was as advertised and neatly packaged.

this item is too small for my GE JVM1540SP1SS microwave oven. The part number must be correct. So I don't know if there is an error with this product size or if the original part will also have the same problem. The width size is ok, the height (oblique) too short.

This purchase was a backorder of this product but what I received was not what I originally ordered. The original product was much better made, with metal mesh on both sides of the filter and thick filter media. The product supplied as part of this reorder has a screen on only one side of the filter and a very fine filter material. I returned it for a refund.

I literally didn't know there was a replaceable filter in the vent of my 10 year old microwave. Needless to say, I needed to replace the charcoal filter (and do a thorough cleaning) as soon as possible. I can't read the model number on my Maytag Ultra Long Range Microwave anymore, so I just measured the old filter and found a replacement with the same dimensions. Fits perfectly so I'm happy with the purchase.
