Bought and not used for the first month so I can't return. But now I'm working on my second project and it keeps falling apart! A small piece of metal keeps falling off. Also, the base can move and the needle can get caught in it if I don't notice it before I start the machine, and then the needle breaks.

I bought this product because it was advertised to work with my Kenmore. Although it fits in the machine and works, the needle rubs on the top right side of the hole (I also tried 2 extra needles that were brand new). This scares me that the needle will eventually hit and break. A piece of metal that, unlike materials, stands for a 1/4" seam allowance larger than 1/4". I realize I may not find one that is exactly 1/4 inch, but that was too far for me. I will be returning this product for a…

large eyelet prevents the needle from hitting the presser foot in big jumps like it often happens when I use the presser foot that came with my singer xl420. The larger the hoop, the greater the likelihood of long jumps and dropping the needle onto the metal. A darning foot with big eyes prevents this.
