🌿 KANBERRA GEL 524003 Natural Air Purifier Gel, 8-Oz Review

I have 3 cats, 2 litters and a robotic toilet. I keep a 4 ounce Canberra Gel next to the trays in the tray rooms and it does the job well. If Kanberra Gel made filter cartridges I would buy them and put them in a filling robot. Unfortunately, keeping them around doesn't help at all.

I'm pretty picky about smells around me, but a friend recommended this product for musty basements. In my case, I recently bought a used office cabinet that had a slight odor, not unpleasant but still noticeable. So I tried to put one of these canisters in the closet. After a week, the initial odor was reduced by at least 80%. Kanberra Gel has a fairly strong, but what I call "neutral" scent that helps mask, if not eliminate, other odors.

We had a diesel leak on our sailing boat that caused an unbearable, not to mention toxic, smell. 4 oz. A tube of gel has completely eaten up the smell. Then the typical midsummer funky smell of dampness appeared in our oceanfront home - I bought a larger 8 oz. bathe, put on the shelf and after a few days the musty summer smell is gone. For example, no more annoying smelly bites - it absorbs odors instead of masking them with "air fresheners". Expensive but effective.

I've been hearing about Canberra gel on a home repair radio show for a while. Definitely removes the smell! I use 8 ounces next to the litter box and another near the kennel. AAANNND I literally stuck one in the floor vent of my 160 year old home to get rid of any creeping damp basement smell. My cabin sailboat was recently hit by a hurricane. He exited the boat ramp at the pier and was found two months later in the woods with standing water in the cabin (from rain, not salt water). Although it had some mold in it, it was surprisingly limited and I was able to clean it. I put the jar of it in about three months before the storm and sat on the table.
