🎧 Kanex Pro Digital to Analog Audio Converter, Simple Installation, Supports uncompressed 2-channel LPCM analog audio output (AUD2ACV) Review

I bought this device to connect my new Sony Blue Ray DVD player to my old analogue stereo receiver. Works like a champ. As with all D/A converters there is some volume loss so you will have to turn up the volume when using it but the sound quality is excellent and the unit is well made. Worth every penny.

I bought this in the hope that I could use it with my Samsung Plasma TV and Sony analog remote control headphones. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to work. I've tried many different connection options - no luck so far. Also, the box itself says "Analog to Digital Audio Converter" and not "Digital to Analog", which is probably why it didn't work (misdirection). If anyone has a solution it would be appreciated. I can't seem to use my remote controlled headphones anymore which is a shame.

I agree with others here that this is a really well made product that does exactly what it is supposed to do. Surprisingly these days it comes packaged in a box of above average quality. There are no settings, it just connects. I used this device to connect a Sony BDP-S5100 Blu-ray player to a Yamaha RX-596 receiver.
