I just received my hat and it smells awful too! It smells so strongly of perfume/incense (not chemical) that we had to put it back in its packaging and put it in the basement to return it. We seriously thought we somehow got a scent bottle that burst into the packaging before we ripped it open because we could smell it from the second we opened the mailbox. Unfortunately, it was sent together with another purchased item and now also smells so strongly of perfume that we have to air this item as

. Washed several times and the horrible chemical smell stays, doesn't wash out. It's also a very cheap hat so I think I got what I paid for. It is made of very cheap material which I now regret buying. I would not recommend buying it, I should have spent $5 more for a decent baseball cap that is made of a more durable material and most importantly without the lingering unknown horrible smell which is most likely not safe to breathe and who knows how to wear it.

Bill Reflection Hat - I bought a navy blue hat a few months ago. I was impressed with the quality of the hat and the fact that I didn't have to quite adjust the velcro to fit my large head. The Velcro had over an inch of overlap. The bottom of the first navy blue hat had a dark colored visor to match the color of the hat. This time I bought a hat in khaki, a very light khaki. I hate giving bad reviews The hat was black. The hat is also damaged. Somehow it ended up with a nasty crease right at the hat's bib. Makes the cap pretty useless. It may have happened during delivery.

I use this cap for work as I sometimes wear a hard hat when I go into the field. My hair gets messy so I wear it in between to look presentable. For less than $6, this hat exceeded my expectations. It's nothing special, but it does what it's supposed to and has held up well so far. As for the quality of workmanship, nothing is unbuttoned or embroidered, the hat looks uniform and symmetrical.

The bill for the two hats I ordered arrived completely ruined and, oh, they're always bad. It's hard to photograph but in real life they look so sloppy and you can really see how poor the quality is. You shouldn't be sending them back, but they certainly don't wear out.
