316 stainless steel. Long using life, anti-vibration, anti-explosion. Open a 2" dimension and 2-3/4" depth hole, put gauge into it and fasten. Output Signal is 0-190ohm; Indicating Range: PORT - STBD. Hook up easily, 4 wires connection: Blue-power negative, Red-power positive, Black-signal wire, Orange(backlight)-power positive. Works like a key fob for lighting and electrics

It takes a little planning and work to install the sensor yourself on the rudder, but it works like a key fob, it's very sensitive and even picks up small tire angle changes .
