🔴 Kaper II L15-0018 High Visibility Red LED Third Brake Light Review

Worked as a replacement for a Snugtop High Cab Shell of the same shape. The 2 holes even matched for the inside of the clip. The only problem is that it didn't come with glue or sealant to make it waterproof.

Easy to install and connect all connectors. The length was exactly what I was looking for to fit my empty truck cover. The only difference from the original was that the original was a wedge brake light which I couldn't find. I was able to get it working.

Disappointing. They don't tell you to place it in a cutout. I was hoping to replace an old lightbulb on my trailer that was held in place with two small screws. When this was obtained there were no instructions so you are on your own with this. Now I'm back on the hunt for an LED that works!

Good quality part. Approaching how. Yes, with some adjustments. Just be aware that you may need to work with it to get it right. I have a craft topper and this was the closest thing to what I needed. I'm not disappointed because I knew it would take some messaging with the parts grinder and base plate in the lid. The part fits me perfectly.

This is the factory light that was on my ATC topper, concluded I didn't need this light due to the connector that was plugged in during installation , didn't work properly, test yours first before buying a new one, it worked on the connector and worked. There was no glue or foam on it like the original, he took the old one off and put the new one on. less than perfect but works fine. The inside at the back pulls it together just enough to seal.

Contrary to the Amazon listing image, there is NO 3m tape attached to the light. I looked at the pictures and thought it would be attached to a bare body that has no mounting holes. It also seems designed more for an insert and bolt configuration, maybe another body builder I'm not familiar with. In fact, it does not reach the section with a notch on a thin shell.

I bought this hoping it would go with my Raider topper as it had to match the Leer, ARE etc. It was worth the risk, it fit perfectly in the bracket holding the old light. It's bright and functional. Note. This is only the front (outer) part of the lantern, so you will need the rear bracket from your old lantern/topper to attach it. Either that or you'll have to use glue. At some point I will have to apply silicone sealant around mine as without it it is neither water nor dust proof.
