I like tweezers-like tools. However, you need to know that the locking ring or washer has to go through the channel you're trying to thread through. It would be helpful to have some pointers or illustrations to follow. Other tools are not as useful yet, but have potential.

I bought this to have elasticity or a similar shell for the masks I make for my family. I found the safety pin didn't work very well on some of them. I've only tried one of these tools and it works great! When I opened the package they were sent, they were loose. Unwrapped so be sure to discard all packaging prior to disposal.

All packaging as shown here on Revain. I bought these bandages after learning from a customer that I bought the mask from another app that that person used to thread the rope onto their masks. It will be of great help to get those ear loops and headbands through my masks. Good price for this set of bodkins and not sure how durable and long lasting they are. Be at least.

I used a metal bobby pin (not the one with the little metal circle you press to close the bobby pin - but the one I used (two of them are the same ) Works pretty Well the metal circle one was a problem and didn't work for me at all I haven't tried the other plastic ones but got the job done with the tool I was going to use to thread the cord through the sheathing of the garment, that I designed and made the job very easy - highly recommend it.

Just received this kit to add to my sewing kit. I bought this specifically to thread ribbons through the mask's channels. Used large safety pins and they got stuck and pierced the fabric. I tried using a bar in this set but the tension ring was too big for my canals and got stuck. Used a different metal tool. Don't know what to call it (see photo) and it worked great!
