I've painted by numbers more than I can count and this probably looks the worst. The picture you see is VERY deceptive. He's spotty and unattractive. On the other hand, it's easy to read while the number is passing and relatively quick to draw.

The only complaint is that the black color wasn't clear enough. I was lucky that I still had a set of black from the previous paint job. Why were the lesser used colors filled to the brim while the most used color was only half filled? Overall a good picture but you are setting the artist up for failure. Fix black problem.

Well, it turned out great, but there were many questions. The black paint ran out before I finished the woodwork, many of the paints were very thin and required many coats. Also, you have to mix a lot to make it look good, and some of the colors on the wood just looked weird. In the end I solved the problem with the colors which I think looked good. So with a lot of work it works fine.

I must say that I really liked the picture. However, there are a few downsides. First, the brushes that come with it aren't the best for painting. Second, not all dots have numbers, so you have to guess some of them. And finally, black color was clearly not enough. Aside from those three things, I really enjoyed it. The canvas it's on is really good and I found it pretty easy (this is the first paint by numbers I've done).

I bought this for myself as a distraction during COVID-19 quarantine and it definitely worked. I didn't like that things looked very unmixed, so I'm working on mixing them better. Some colors looked exactly the same, others were so different they looked weird side by side. Doesn't look like a photo, but it's a painting, not a photo. All in all a nice picture BUT definitely a lot of work and even more if it looks really good.

I had a great time painting this tree by myself. It was so calming. It took me about a month and a half to finish this painting, but take your time, you're in no hurry, are you? A few tips I learned along the way (this was my first painting) getting better brushes. Invest in 30/0 brushes (micro micro micro brushes lol).
