These hooks are worth the price! I've been crocheting for over 10 years and they are easy to hold and don't hurt the hand compared to regular crochet hooks. If you are new to crocheting and want a slightly different crochet hook set? Then you must like these. The seams were even when tested. My advice is to wash the hooks in hand soap and dry them as for some reason my hooks were sticky or didn't slide well on the yarn.
