KAVANYISO Merino Breathable Athletic Thicken Review

I can safely say that if I'm not limited to brands like Smart Wool when buying socks online I'm generally dissatisfied. Socks actually meet all the parameters of everyday life. They fit my size 12ft EEE well and definitely fit plus sizes. I think they might be too big for the smaller sizes. They wash well and I've dried them on a low heat with no problems. I will be using my brand of hiking and outdoor socks. For everyday use, I'm glad I bought four pairs.

Three of the four pairs have been washed and look fine, at least for now. These are thick and comfortable merino wool blend socks to wear with boots on a busy day at work. I would recommend the three pairs I wore. The fourth pair, however, rips a stitch right out of the box before it's washed or worn. It's disappointing for a reasonable price and they seem to have some quality assurance issues.

I work as a mail carrier in New Mexico and when the temperatures drop in January it's no fun working with cold toes. I've tried many brands of wool socks and I've always had cold feet by the end of the shift. I bought them based on wool content and price. I was amazed at how warm my feet are with it! These are good socks but there are two problems. First, they shrink and don't reach calf length as shown in the photos. I know wool shrinks but I've had plenty of wool socks in the past and they shrink a lot more than usual. They stretch to fit better so I kept them. I wear above average shoes (size 11) but much larger feet may not be so lucky. Second, although they stretch to still fit snugly, the result of the shrinkage is that they're lower than the photos: a few inches above the ankle.…

Warm, dry feet have changed my life. No more cold feet. Conveniently packed in pairs so I have one for each foot and can roam the kitchen like a man in the morning. These socks are thick enough to ignore the pellets the cat threw out of the box; so warm that I can confidently walk on a tiled floor in winter. When my legs feel good, I feel good. They arrived in August 2020 so I can't rate their winter clothing. I can contemplate how the cold will come. For now, I give priority to doubt. On the outside of the sock, there are bumps in the normal knitting stitch (bulges, enlarged loops), which pose a risk of hanging, especially on parquet floors; I deducted a star for this basic quality control issue.
