My local pet food store was closed and I was looking for loose food without unnecessary ingredients. Bought this based on the reviews and was very happy with the quality. My birds love it. Excellent price.

The bag this food comes in is incredibly sturdy and has a great handle that makes it easy to move. My birds HATE the pellets in most bird feeders so a lot of them go to waste. My birds will eat anything in this mix and I just add other foods and nutrients they like to the seeds. 25 pounds is enough for 3-4 months with 2 budgies and 2 fat cockatiels. $5 a month on basic groceries is an amazing deal.

I LOVE THAT THIS COMES IN HUGE PACKAGING. I have six parrots and they eat a TON of seeds. I looked at different varieties, including those with dried fruits and vegetables. Now they don't trample their seeds as hard. It's so fresh when you open the packaging and should last a long time as I have a three pound jar at home. The bag weighs 25 pounds and I only filled my container twice so I have 19 pounds left which is a lot.

Everything I love in it is packaged super fresh and all are great value for money. I didn't like that the packaging wasn't secure enough and the seeds leaked during shipping. Someone sealed the corner with tape to keep them from leaking. I'm not sure if we actually got the right weight. We didn't think it would be cost effective to send it back for a replacement. However, we hope both the seller and the carrier would take better care to avoid damage to the goods and the item sent.
