Birdseed as advertised. There was a generous portion of seeds, nuts and fruit. The seeds are cherry flavored and have a very strong odor that I was very allergic to so I couldn't feed them to my birds. I would have preferred it without the cherry flavor. I'm not sure if birds need artificial flavors.

Strangely this seems to bring more interesting birds and feed the birds I had before. Since starting this feed I have seen purple finches and woodpeckers that I have never seen in my bird feeder before. The cardinals seem to like it. At first I thought the tits didn't like it because they appear and then disappear, but then I took a closer look at them. so instead of eating it and then doing it over and over again, I guess boobs have it somewhere. giggle

I found this particular bag, like some other reviewers, was missing the 'fruit' content. It's interesting because I buy the same brand from Target and this bag seems to be full to the brim with all the good parts. I don't necessarily think seeds are "bad" per se, but if you're paying extra for a more varied seed bag, I'd like that to actually be reflected in the bag. But the birds don't seem to mind. But if I went back to Amazon I would probably buy something cheaper. Otherwise, I'll stick with
