Clamps are good but pliers are not very good in my opinion. First, they are very difficult to fully compress when using 3/4" or larger yokes; 2) The ends of the jaws are ground to form a slight bulge in the clamp creating a leak path. This is my first time using Oetiker clamps (I use them on 1/2" OD hoses in a sparkling water setup).
