    Sandals with a good fit

    Of the variety of sandals I've tried at Walmart, these are my favorites. The sole is a bit thinner than I expected, but that doesn't detract from the overall comfort of the sandal. It appears to be well made and sits securely on the foot. I don't think I'm going to slip or that it's going to slip once I start walking. Can't wait to see how they wear until the end of summer.

    Well made, lasts for years.

    This is the second pair of these shoes I've bought. I bought my first pair in 2010. They finally started dying about a year ago. Now it's time to complain to airport security again and I bought it again.

    Correct proportions - my new review

    Overall, I like the shape and look of the Clearwater CLX compared to its relatively bulky and oversized cousin, the Keen Newport model. True to size, the Clearwater CLX also has a layer of fabric under the skin, possibly to prevent chafing. I will buy this again.

    Keep size in mind

    These shoes are different from the ones I tried on in the store. I later changed my mind but they were sold and turned to Walmart. These shoes are the same size as the ones I tried but half a size smaller. This causes the left shoe to rub uncomfortably on the little toe. It's not the quality of the assembly, it's the location of the different sized straps. They have no problem with socks, but who wants to be a regular tourist wearing socks under sandals?

    Very comfortable on hot days.

    I live in Florida and wear these shoes year round. Unfortunately, they don't last more than a couple of years with constant wear. But no shoes will last longer and will not be comfortable shoes.

    Bought them for a hike in Utah where there will be a mix of hiking and climbing. They worked great on both. Very happy with the KEEN brand and the "stickiness" of the sole. I really like the elastic laces. Good build quality and great price at Walmart compared to REI.

    They were very comfortable and matched the arches perfectly. I'm a woman, but men's shoes for width. I ended up sending them back because I had blisters on my heels after walking 3 miles. If you wanted to wear socks with them, they probably wouldn't cause blisters.

    Very uncomfortable sandals

    Clearwater CNX - painfully uncomfortable sandals! I've worn other KEEN sandals for years, basically I wear them all summer and bought this pair for a trip abroad. This particular Clearwater model lacks the insole cushioning, arch support, and comfort that the Newport model has. money thrown away. I couldn't return them because I returned under Walmart's 30 day return policy.

    Exceeded expectations

    I am very happy with my new Keen running shoes. These are the first pair I've ever owned, although my kids have been wearing them for years. The leather style looks better in real than in the pictures. I've worn them everywhere. Fits perfectly and honestly exceeded my expectations.
