Great for kids, loves the compartmentation, not too expensive for a bag that will grow with our kids.

Walked 550 PCT miles in this backpack. It was a strong solid body. Many practical pockets for frequently used items. Plenty of straps to secure loose items if needed. Great price for strong packaging. Good for 5ft 3in and 110lb frames.

This was the lightest backpack we could find. Well built as you would expect from Kelty. My son is picky about tight or heavy body clothing and was very pleased with this piece. I'd say it's normal given his small stature, but he'll most likely outgrow it within two years. I agree as we will let the next child use it too. Once again we felt it was well built and easy to adjust. Also included is a rain cover.
