This 10 oz tea maker / cup can be used for hot, iced tea, coffee (bag cofee) brew; Elegant and modern design. Comes with 3 pieces -- glass cup, glass inner cup, and glass lid. All pieces are made entirely of heat resistant borosilicate glass. The inner cup with 12 narrow openings near the bottom acting as "strainer". It is easy to brew the tea. Just put the tea into the inner cup and add some water, then the innner cup releases infused tea directly into the outside drinking cup. After tea is ready, get out the inner cup and you can drink the tea in the drinking cup. Great for the office or when traveling.

Works well and is good value

Works well. The design makes it very easy to brew a cup of loose tea, whether I'm brewing boiling water in a teapot and pouring it through the teapot, or microwave water into the cup and then carefully inserting the teapot. When using higher quality whole leaf tea, very few leaves pass through the tea strainer. When brewing inferior teas with more fragmented leaves, a small tea flower will remain in the cup. I was under the impression that it's a bit flimsy and won't take too much abuse. Heโ€ฆ

Absolutely perfect.

This kettle for individual tea preparation is absolutely perfect. I have bought many tea infusers and these are the best ever! It has an insert made of the same delicate glass that the cup and lid are made of. The insert has several "laser thin" slots that allow water to seep through but not a single piece of leaf through (unlike most tea infuser). The whole thing is made of filigree glass and is simply beautiful. I am so happy with this product that I will be purchasing a few to keep giftsโ€ฆ

I love this mug! One reviewer said it doesn't look anything like the picture, well the flower is for effect not decoration. He shows the flower as if it were a tea bag or tea leaves to put in a cup to make tea. The mug looks exactly like the photo, consists of three parts: a mug, a teapot and a lid. You put a tea bag or loose tea in a brewing cup and place it in the drinking cup, add hot water and let it steep. When done following your example, remove the brew cup and add sugar, cream, etc. You
