    If you have a problem.

    Yes, if you have trouble turning the little tab after you put it in its slot in the laptop case, it could be because of its thickness. not bad in itself. This is exactly what happened to me with the Lenovo ThinkPad W701. There was no way to rotate this little metal thing 90 degrees. an essential pre-installation step before you can use the mini dongle to attach it to your laptop bag. This annoyed me a lot and I wanted to send the whole package back to Amazon. but then it cools down a bit. I was

    I chose this model after extensive research. While I'd prefer a combination lock for ease of use, I've read that due to machining tolerances (in any combination lock design) some people can feel a change in tension in the wheels as they get closer to the correct number. Also, another Kensington combo lock reviewer on Amazon (not sure which model) stated that setting the combo lock incorrectly prevents the combo version of the lock from opening (I don't know if that's true, check those Combo…

    Must Buy for Students

    This is a must buy for every student. I use this when I go to the library and have an empty class to study with. You wrap it around something that can't be removed and it protects your laptop. I bought the Ultra over the Standard because I thought the Standard would be too thin and more difficult to cut.     Safety is good for computers and accessories

    I bought this with the new G75VX for when you need to run away but don't want to leave your laptop out in the open. Unfortunately, this does not yet work with the G75VX. The lock needs to fit fully into the tab to engage, but the G75VX's design around the Kensington slot prevents any part of the lock from fully engaging.     I love this lock on my 15 " MacBook Pro

    I installed this lock on my 2013 15" MacBook Pro. The tab that attaches to the laptop is firm and feels very secure as it actually screws in between the computer case like a nut and a bold design. The locking device is simply attached to the hub and can be rotated on the fixed hub. The cable attached to the lock is also free to rotate, making a totally optional connection to my laptop.
