These buttons work! 2010 Toyota 4Runner

As with many of these aftermarket keys, there is a real problem finding keys that can be programmed. Not these, they worked fine!

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Trivia

Works for a DIYer, but not easy.

Like the original. Not entirely correct, but looks the same after a few weeks of use. You're going to have to get pretty technical to program this yourself.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Hard to say

Perfect for work!

Worked great finding a dealer willing to cut and program this key. Dealers charge about $175 for a Toyota OEM key, and this cut and program key costs about $125.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • The packaging is ugly

Worked for ignition (after programming) and remote lock/unlock

These keys are easy to program into my 2010 Rav4 on the first try. They work on both doors (remote control) and ignition! I programmed them myself with Techstream and then took them to Ace Hardware who discounted them for only $1.99 since they were already programmed.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Repair

Don't spend more on the same key!

Everyone I spoke to said they wouldn't work or that they were rubbish, even the locksmith who programmed them said "These cheap keys never work." " Well it worked and is still working great after 2 months. I only paid $75 for this key, which is almost $300 less than Toyota and more than $100 less than a locksmith. worth your money.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Great price for what it is

Great price for what it is. After the procedure I programmed the key fob, it opens the doors perfectly. Turn it off and the engine won't start. A transponder chip is still required, programmed at the dealer, the local one near me costs 60 dollars. In the long run it is still significantly cheaper than getting the key + programming from the dealer. So it's worth it, but it hurts more than it should.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Negative impression

Naturally! best in Anti-Theft

After doing a little research I purchased these key fobs (with batteries already installed) for a 2010 Toyota Rav4. Buying a pair was economical and necessary in my case. I became interested in self-programming tutorial videos and quickly realized that they didn't "get the job done". I then took the keys to a reputable locksmith who, with the right programming equipment, cut and programmed both keys for $60 --- and they work!
