It works - Spares

Just bought a Mercedes SL550 and it came with no start button. This unit was half the price and works the same as the OEM button.

  • Sturdy finish

My W221 2012 S550

After noticing that my car's original sticker said Keyless Go I ordered this starter button. It was literally plug and play because it worked the first time. Don't forget to press the brake pedal to start.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Has Problems

Works as advertised!

I was hesitant to try a non-OEM Mercedes part but it worked great. I made sure my 2014 GLK 350 had the keyless package, so I ordered a button. Just insert it where the key goes and push the button while holding the brake and it starts right away. Easy!

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Exchange available

Works as described on my 2018 C300

just hooked it up to my 2018 MB C300 Convertible and it worked straight away. Make sure you have the keyless function. You can confirm this by searching for a Mercedes VIN decoder online, entering your VIN/vehicle identification number and viewing the features listed.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Before you push the button you have to push the brake

I was very excited about this so I put the button in the ignition and pushed it. Nothing happened except the dashboard caught fire. Very disappointed I was ready to send it back but I googled the problem and found that you have to keep your foot on the brake when you press the button. Well I tried it and it works! Very happy now. I'm using it in a 2017 Infiniti QX30 that didn't come with a push button ignition, now it's only 2018. Well, not my car looks like 2018!

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Great Price
