It worked for my 2005 GMC Yukon!

Most of the time I don't trust such things. It looks like I can't get it to work or it doesn't work for my machine. But it was driving me crazy because the key fob for my old Yukon stopped working most of the time. I can't comment on how long this remote will last, but it was easy for me to program it myself and it worked.

Such money savings and such easy programming

Works great. Programming took 2 minutes. After programming a new remote, for some reason my original GM was not reprogrammed. I ordered another one and then repeated the program sequence and both work great. I threw away the original GM. I'm pretty sure one of the buttons isn't being held down all the time to program it.

one worked, one didn't

went through the retraining process and couldn't get one of the two to accept the reprogramming, I got the other to work with my original working keychain So I have two working batteries and one spare which I will try to program again - I replaced the battery (2032) in the non-working remote (it was only 3.03 volts) with a new battery but it didn't work.

It worked as promised in Antivor

Too bad I didn't order this a long time ago. I've been using a broken key fob for months and have to manually lock the doors. I assumed/heard a replacement would cost a few hundred dollars. Someone told me about it, so I gave it a try. That works great. Its programming instructions are simple. I had to try programming it about 3 times before I knew it was right, but it's been working fine ever since. Bought for a 2005 Cadillac Esclade.

It is necessary to program a working key fob with this at the same time. If it doesn't work, you need to contact a programmer.

Must use the original key fob with this one and if the programming doesn't work guess you should take them both to a professional to have them programmed. I removed the battery and the old one worked. Apparently a new battery bought from a battery store didn't work, but this one did. I threw away the key fob not to think it was programmed and then there would be no problems.

False advertising!

Extremely disappointed! The ad said the product was self-programming, but that was a lie. When I received it the instructions included a link to a website where I could provide steps for self programming, but when I entered my model year I was told that my year was not self programming but I would have to refer the dealer to get it to be programmed! This product only covered a few years of my model but still said it was easy to program at home. But that's not the case! It's been over a month…
