Bought for a 2002 Dodge Ram that has three programming methods. Three methods performed several times. None worked. The product is not programmed. Sent back for a refund.

The new remote control works great. Programming was easy and requires a working remote already programmed, but they provide instructions on how to program a new remote if you don't have the old one.

Highly recommended. If you have lost one of your original keychains, this is the best and easiest way. You must have at least one original. No instructions are provided, but basic instructions are available online at ProgramYourRemote.com.

This worked for 1999 Ram 1500. The plastic is cheap but the electronics worked. I've searched the internet for programming, for this you need a working fob to program it yourself, otherwise you have to take it to the dealer and sync all the fobs at once. I programmed all 4 fobs in minutes using the factory fob. Worth the price. It has batteries.
