I feel like they can do better

This fits my 2013 Buick Enclave inserts but they are very tight which is not good. You really have to push and grab for this to work, be very careful as you could damage the inside of your remote. The push piece doesn't really fit perfectly for some reason. This is just a case for the inside of your old remote control.

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • Some difficulties

I do not recommend

Not the best product. Bought this for my Tahoe and the remote control board doesn't fit properly in the case. The new keyboard has a nice fit all around, but I'm not sure what's going on with the buttons. I don't think the keyboard is pressed hard enough for the keyboard that came with it, and the original keyboard won't work either. I would stick with what the auto parts store sells. It's worth a few bucks more to know it will fit.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Secret

The lid never closed to begin with and it really felt like the back was being pushed out where something was wrong. I dropped the keys once and it cracked so the lid closed but it came off very easily. Now it's even more torn to the point that the lid doesn't close at all and had to use tape to close it. The button symbols have been screen printed so the most commonly used buttons are hidden and not visible at all. Strangely, the emergency button is completely gone and I don't think it was used

Worked for a while then quit. questionable

This was very similar to my original block. Slightly thicker next to the key ring. I used my original circuit board and battery and it worked right away. The body and buttons are of very good quality. However, after a few days it would sometimes overshoot and not perform the function pressed - in fact, it wouldn't work at all no matter what key was pressed. I replaced the battery, cleaned the contacts, cleaned the conductive rubber, nothing. Put the circuit board and battery in the original…

Inspector Gadget: Buy, Smash, Repeat.

Break like OEM. I'm reusing my factory rubber buttons so when they're done they look exactly like the factory buttons. GM made a bad original design for this remote control so reproductions/copies will eventually not work either. I have bought several of these from many vendors. You have to line everything up correctly when assembling it or you'll end up with cranky pants. If you can't do this, I suggest asking your child for help, because they look like a grown LEGO with small hands and a good

Pros
  • Replacement housing and keypad, without electronics.
Cons
  • Poor instructions

Works great for our 2014 Acadia

I half expected the worst of the reviews but considering the price I decided to give it a try. Ordered Sunday, received Tuesday. I immediately had to remove miles of tape from my wife's keychain that was barely holding together. She dropped her keys so many times that the back of the keychain split into 3 pieces. I removed the green circuit board from the original front half and carefully inserted it into the new key fob. As a precaution, I wiggled the metal battery connectors a bit to make…

Pros
  • . Perfect for repairing or replacing your existing remote control. No reprogramming required!
Cons

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't; need "Macgyvering "

I received this part to replace a key fob housing on a 2011 Buick Enclave because my key fob didn't have enough range was shining and you had to press the buttons really hard to get it to work. I received this key fob (body and buttons only) and it turned out to be an exact match. So I was surprised when I moved my existing key fob's electronic "guts" into the new key fob case, tried it and it didn't work. I read the comments and saw where others had to change something. I took a closer look…

Pros
  • This is a replacement part that is identical in form and function to the original
Cons
  • Piggy Bank Price
