Package opened, went to the car, unlocked the door with the key. The door is closed, the key is in the ignition lock, the ignition is switched off and on again by actuating (pressing) the door opener switch twice in a row. He released the door switch and the car beeped twice. Then press Open and Close on the remote control at the same time and hold until the car door activates. In total it took about 3 minutes. Very easy.

This keyless remote was just the thing to replace my 20 year old original remote. I asked the local auto parts store for the cost of the replacement, the price was $100. My only issue with these devices is do I "program" the trucks' code to the remote's frequency, or the remotes' code to the truck's frequency. I noticed that the workspace isn't as efficient as the original; The battery may be a little weak. The price difference doesn't bother me.
