KIB M21VW Micro Monitor System Review

I really only needed the circuit board but I liked the gray buttons so I installed the entire faceplate. It literally took about 30 seconds for all of my tank monitors to start working again. Can not complain. Possibly the easiest camper repair I've ever done and nothing at all. Didn't even need a screwdriver. Works great now I have to clean that black tank because it shows full but the amazon covered it. Couldn't be happier.

Some installation instructions would be nice. It was installed in a new trailer I'm building, so it hasn't been used normally. I didn't need a fresh water gauge and no one will ever rely on that battery gauge, but it seems to be working now. Here are the connectors I used: Tank Sensors White - Ground Yellow - 1/3 full Green - 2/3 full Orange - Full 12V+ for pumping Fine Green - Gray tank monitor input Fine Brown/Black - Black tank monitor input

I connected the cables to the tank exactly as directed and connected the cables to the main unit exactly as directed. I only have gray and black tanks so no water pump/fresh water is used. After everything was set, all the lights came on when the tanks are empty, indicating the tanks are full. The gray water LED stopped working on our original OEM micro monitor panel so I ordered this one. This is an exact replacement that simplifies installation. It's also great value as they include EVERYTHING you need to install it from scratch including wiring harnesses etc. All we need is a medium snap on PCB so we were thrilled that it fits perfectly with our old device. Haven't installed this yet, but based on first impressions I think it's about what you'd expect for less than $40. Looks good and should work, but it's very cheap plastic and the pre-installed pump switch doesn't even stick to the front of the unit. As soon as it touches him, it jumps out of the hole.
