One year later in perfect condition. It's heavy, strong and so cute. It is very big so your child can play with it for years. Incredible gift. I highly recommend.

This is a well made doll house. It is stable and took about 2 ½ hours to set up. The YouTube video was very helpful. This is a much better quality than Barbie's dream house. When I asked my 5 year old granddaughter which room she likes best? She said everything. Very happy with this purchase! I recommend adding other furniture and a family of dolls in addition to those that come with the dollhouse. The ones that come with the dollhouse are just awesome, just wish there were more.

It's not all wood as written on the details. Only the borders and accessories are made of wood, the rest is filled with styrofoam like pressed boards. Some parts were bent and some screws were misaligned so assembly was tricky to avoid stripping the screws. It's sturdy enough to play with. The last piece, which attaches like a handle, is actually attached to the wall of the dollhouse, preventing it from falling forward for safety.

Overall I am satisfied with my purchase and very happy that my girls can play with this dollhouse. It's beautiful, big, barbie friendly and decorated with cute wooden furniture. My only complaint is that while there are some wooden components, the walls and floors are some sort of solid board and feel a little flimsy (there was actually a small hole/abrasion in one of the broken jambs - see below). Nice dollhouse! But now I give it 4.5 stars. It arrived quickly. It took me about 2.5 hours to assemble. I used an electric screwdriver which helped but in doing so I managed to pry off 3 screws. Idk There were spare screws in the package and I ended up using them all. So my advice is to be careful and pay attention :) Be careful not to connect the parts upside down, backwards, crooked etc. This will help keep your screws alive :) I didn't use the video, just followed the directions. My 4 year old daughter and I LOVE this KidKraft dollhouse! Assembly was quite easy, I would say it took no more than an hour and a half to assemble. The furniture supplied with the kit is already assembled, one complaint that two pieces of furniture were crushed and one was lightly chipped, but a phone call to KidKraft later and these replacement parts are on their way in the mail!
