Captivating Kinetic Wooden 🌆 City Sculpture: A Beautiful Moving Picture Review

Fun project, although the rubber band mechanism isn't well thought out gives it weak performance and is difficult to set up. I added an electric motor to my set to power it without worrying about breaking the rubber band or tensioner.

I love making these kits but instructions from this brand are impossible. Your images are blurry and when I watched the instructional video, instead of demonstrating how to do something, the video showed the man's hands blocking what he is doing. The video shows the finished part but doesn't help. This may be my first set (I've made 15 from other companies) that I can't finish

Although I had a good time building this project, I still couldn't get it to work as advertised. The "motor" with the rubber band can't apply enough torque on the 1/8" shaft to overcome the friction in the system. I broke a few pieces trying to run it and gave up the project is outwardly beautiful, but not successful as a working model.

I bought this to build for my wife after she stole my wooden hand and the motor kits I made and how it took our 'quality time'. She really loves it and I notice how she turns it on and keeps looking at it and showing it to her friends! It's really cool and not difficult at all. This product looks fantastic and I have made wooden puzzles in this style many times. This is my first shoe from this brand and will be my last. The wooden panels from which they are carved are very thick and rigid. Sounds good, but I broke almost every part I tried to get out. I have 4 previous ones that I bought from another brand and have never had this problem, they don't seem to fully come through? I don't know, but I can't build it now. These aren't the easiest of kits, but they are very precise and work very well if you take the time to work carefully. The use of wax is required for proper operation. The time estimates they provide should be completely ignored. I could rush and assemble the kit at the time they offer, but what's the fun in that? The shipping box was badly damaged and I don't think the product has a chance of not being damaged in some way. Surprisingly, the product was not damaged. It took a few minutes to figure out how to open the product, but once opened and laid out it was relatively easy to work with. Not so. The instructions aren't very helpful as they're just pictures, no text to guide the user through the nuances of assembly, and the pictures aren't that descriptive in some cases.
