Nice canvas but had a hole in the top

Not sure if the top got a hole during shipping from Revain or something so it's not a real hit for KingArt. I have used their canvas many times with no problems. They dangle a bit from the frame, like most. Just spray the surface with some water, let them dry, and they will come out nice and stretched. In general it's great. Too bad one arrived damaged.

Pros
  • Finally bought
Cons
  • Not sure

Exceptional quality

The quality is excellent for the price, which is also very good. These aren't exactly the most expensive canvases we'd all love to use, but they're primed well (uses 4 ounces of Jesso) and the canvas is attached really well to a thin but strong frame. For most of us who work in oil/acrylic this would be a good choice. Since 6 packs are under $33, this makes the art playable again. I hope that was helpful.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

so much fun drawing!

My kid was drawing on canvas hoping I could color it because life is in quarantine. (Thanks, CV19). In any case, we really enjoyed the scale and the communication experience it gave us. They were way bigger than I thought and I love them! I painted with acrylics and they are awesome! I had no problems with the canvas. They arrived in perfect condition and appear to be decent quality for the price.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes

Good for kids on boards and canvases

We bought these for our budding artist, our 8 year old who dabbles in all kinds of art. What can you say about them? You are all he needs. They are beautifully stretched over a pine wood frame which means they are lightweight and easy to carry on their own. They are also easy to set up on a small easel, leaving a little kid more than usual white space for creativity. His acrylic paints look fresh when they dry. He uses them to draw gifts that he will give to his family members later this year…

  • Good value for money

Great for kids

I have been buying these Kingart canvases for my daughter for a long time. I used to spend a lot of money on canvases at the craft store, but these packs are a little cheaper than the ones I found in Michael and Joan's fabrics. They're great for kids. My daughter is 12 and loves to draw. They are very well made and provide the perfect canvas for your art. The canvas is tightly stretched, the frame is strong. After she's done we always hang her up somewhere in our house and they look so amazing!

Pros
  • 100% cotton impregnated with acid free acrylic primer
Cons
  • Damaged

Good price but not that tight

I usually use Blick canvases so I can only compare them. These KingArt canvases are well priced and generally very good. When I put it on my wooden easel you can see how the stand rests on the board and deforms it. Placing a piece of cardboard behind it helped smooth it out. I got my aluminum easel with better back support and the problem went away. I didn't have this problem with Blick because it's narrower or the material is thicker. I'm not sure. In addition, the color lay very well on the…

Great for kids projects

Let me first say that if you are an artist looking for a quality canvas, this review is probably not for you. Why? Because I'm not an artist and I really don't know what you're looking for. However, I am a mother of two very creative little girls who love to draw and they are wonderful for that. They were securely wrapped in plastic around the outer leaves as well as around each individual leaf. The fabric seems to be stretched well. We had no issues with loose edges or canvas that was too…
