Great bed. best in crib

Spent it in border waters for a week and slept like a king. Supported all the time. I would not recommend sitting on it. Distribute your weight evenly when you sit on it and it should last a long time.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Doesn't fold and easy to set up

This is the second camp bed I've bought. They work great and it's worth the price. They will not fall apart when stacked on top and are very easy to stack and fold. Definitely a great buy!

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Not bad

Comfortable bed for camping furniture

This is a short review, I only spent 2 nights on it. It's easy to assemble, other reviews complained that it was tight to assemble, but the cam-lock system made it easy. It was pretty handy. I can't confirm durability.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Light and comfortable to sleep on

I really like it because it is light and very comfortable to sleep on after installation. My problem is the assembly, namely the last part when I have to do the final step to attach the legs on one side and that's a problem for me on both sides: assembly and disassembly. Look for information on how to make this a little easier. Thanks very much!

  • practical item

Great bed! suitable for cribs

This crib has been working fine for me since I bought it a few weeks ago. It's a bit difficult to get the legs right at first, but after a few uses it's not a problem. Lightweight, folds well, doesn't take up much space in the car. I've used a sleeping pad over it but it's still comfortable on its own. I sleep on my side, on my stomach, on my back - everywhere, and I was comfortable in every position.

Cribs are very difficult to assemble

The description says they are easy to assemble. I'm strong, I've packed a lot of stuff and I couldn't get these tie rods to attach them to the cribs. I was on a camping trip with a group and another man helped me, he agreed they were difficult to put together and his cribs were a lot easier to put together. You can't sleep right on top of cribs without feeling the bars, so you'll need a mat too. I emailed the manufacturer to see if they have any solutions. I wanted to do this before writing a…

Broke after less than a dozen uses.

At first glance, King Camp's ultra-light camp bed looks like it's built to last. Setup was very easy with little learning curve at first. Very compact and light. Great for hiking. I weigh 220 pounds, which is under the maximum weight capacity. I have used the crib about 10 times while camping in the United States. While camping in California, one of the plastic legs unexpectedly broke. I am very disappointed in the quality of this product. I don't think I will buy any other KingCamp products.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Upgradeable

There is a cot! suitable for cots and hammocks

I purchased this after reading the reviews carefully and I am pleasantly surprised. I use this crib for motorcycle camping and have done a few rides in it this summer. It is very small and light and easily fits in one of my hard suitcases. Watch the video to see how to assemble and disassemble but other than that I had no problems with this crib. I checked out the "famous" murphy bed that costs $249! But with the money I saved buying it, I was able to do more rides and fuel my bike more! I use…

Very awkward for wraps and flippers

Good quality, light weight, easy to set up, fits well in tent, legs can break if too close to edge and damn uncomfortable. I camped out in the yard to make sure everything was in order before things really got going, and that bunk was the weak link. He tosses and turns, which is typical for me, but he couldn't find a comfortable position. I'm going to buy a thick foam pad to put it on and hopefully that will make the thing usable. I didn't want a noisy dinghy, but it would certainly be a lot…

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Some bugs
