I was pleased to order this pin as there are so few items by this company in silver. This one (and I've ordered a few to review) is pretty good, although I wish the stones were a little higher quality and had some shine, they're fairly matte. But other than that the pin is well made and I think it would look nice on the lapel of my winter coat even though they are for a man and I am a woman. Nice needle.

These pens are pretty cheap. I got five or six of this brand for my daughter who really collects pins. Some of them were better painted than others, and one of the pins broke the post. This one wasn't our favorite. We have silver with black stones. Silver has "pits" that look cheap to me. Also, the black "gems" look like plastic and I wish they were shinier. I like some others better.

This item worries me the most - the metal pin bent at the top on first use. I suspect it won't last 10 on/off. If you plan on putting it on and NEVER taking it off, that's probably fine; but the momentary bending of the thin needle worries me. It is also difficult to attach the second part to the shirt when it is on. I don't know the price as I write this.

I will use it as decoration for hats, bags and some decorations for my BJD dolls. It will look great on clothes from the past. My BJD dolls are dressed in Victorian style and Gothic outfits. You will look great with some of these decorations. Steampunk outfits will look even better. Especially with hanging chains on some of them.
