Bought this disc for my GIGABYTE BRIX Pro. It's only been a little over a month, but it's fast and quiet. GIGABYTE did not support this particular model, but did support several other Kingstons. This Kingston had basically the same specs, large memory, low power consumption and low heat output, AND it was cheaper. I can't say he's done anything amazing, but I can say he's doing his job. I plugged it in and forgot about it until I saw Revain's order history.

  • Looking forward to it

Use as boot/OS drive for Dell Inspiron One 2350

I was able to get one of these for $39 from Revain Warehouse Deals, which is very close to Kingston's entry-level option (model UV500) at $33.40 Dollar. . My Dell All-In-One had an empty mSATA drive slot (commonly used for L3 cache) but it was easy to set it up as a boot/OS drive and use the old 1TB primary hard drive for storage only . Machine performance has tripled and boot times have been reduced from around a minute with an old hard drive to 20 seconds with a Kingston SSD. Make sure youโ€ฆ

Great drive, fast

Combined with Aleratec driver converter to add this SSD to Motion J3500. Before this was added, the 5400RPM hard drive took over 5 minutes to load Windows from boot. After cloning Windows partition, it booted up in about 15 seconds. Our field engineer loved how fast it ran after making this change, and battery life seems to have improved quite a bit too.

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent

  • Some bugs

Perfect replacement for

Used to replace a failed SSD in an Acer Aspire S7. When we bought it, we were told that the SSD was not upgradeable. But when that failed, I had no choice. Worked right away when I installed Windows 10 from scratch. 1 star was docked as the old one was RAID 0 and had R/W numbers close to 1TB/s. But that also led to failure.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Fast and Reliable at Computers and Accessories

The drive has been installed and appears to be working very well with excellent read and write speeds. Experience has shown that Kingston makes the best drives (and storage). I think this is due to their extensive QA/QC testing. I have been a loyal Kingston customer for over 25 years and have never had a problem with their products including this one.

Pros
  • Regular Price
Cons
  • Communication with Seller

This SSD works great with older PowerBook G4 and PowerPC Macs with .

This SSD works great with older PowerBook G4 and PowerPC Mac models with mSATA to IDE converters. While older versions of OS X don't have TRIM support, this SSD uses a Sandforce controller, which doesn't cause sleep issues like other SSDs with a JMicron controller. With the PowerBook G4 Titanium SSD installed, it boots very quickly and applications start in a few seconds, although the speed is limited to 66 Mbps. If you want to breathe new life into your old IDE-only laptop, I definitelyโ€ฆ

In terms of value for money, this SSD is hard to beat!

Installed on my old Lenovo Y580 which worked with a 1TB hard drive. Most of my files have been moved from HDD to under 120GB in size (like on this SSD). I used free cloning software to transfer my operating system and reinstalled some of my old programs. The difference between day and night as you would expect. My boot time from full shutdown to Firefox starting went from about 90 seconds to about 20 seconds. From hibernation, a similar story: Firefox starts up in 15 seconds compared to 60โ€ฆ

Works well on laptop

I've had this SSD for eight weeks now. It works fine on my Lenovo E420. I first installed two flavors of Linux on this drive. Windows was on my regular SATA drive, a 90GB Kingston HyperX 3K SSD. I later installed Windows 10 on this 120GB Kingston mSATA drive. No problem to report. Windows runs faster on this mSATA device, but I haven't proven it. I have two SSDs in my laptop. I'm thinking of adding a third SSD to an HD caddy I've used to replace my laptop's DVD burner with a SATA to mSATAโ€ฆ

  • It's amazing

  • I don't really like it, everything is fine

This SSD is FAST, CHEAP and AMAZING!

This washer is FAST, CHEAP AND AMAZING! If you're looking to breathe new life into an old laptop running on a mechanical hard drive (with a spare mSATA slot), this is the absolute best dollar-for-dollar upgrade out there. This makes the most noticeable difference in boot time and overall system speed. You could buy a more expensive and faster SSD, but I'm sure you won't see any useful performance gain over this Kingston mS200. I was looking for the CHEAPEST SSD solution that could drasticallyโ€ฆ
