Good ceiling light

I really like the look of this light. As a result, we installed 4 of them as lamps in the hallway. My husband had trouble installing the first two in particular, but installing the fourth was much faster. The assessments that state installation is more difficult are therefore correct. I also don't like the stitching on the fabric cover, but we put it against the wall and it's not noticeable.

Fun and modern in lighting and ceiling fans

Bought 4 of these lights to update my 1926 bungalow. They are very attractive and very easy to install. The ceiling area is large but just what I needed to hide any cracks and defects before removing the old fixings. They arrived on time, packed in very sturdy boxes. The glass top was well protected, as were the fabric and metal lampshades. Two lightbulbs really light up my dark corridors.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Too long to wait

Simple light. Impossible Directions!

This stupid light ate up all my experienced man's patience. When you're standing on the stairs looking up at the high ceiling and you've got the fiberglass on you, the last thing you want is to take off your old chandelier and then find various screws, nuts, bolts and solve impossible instructions while your wife does the keeps topical product up in the air on tiptoe in a chair while your one-year-old cries because you're not holding it!

  • Great for me

good light. complicated installation instructions

overall a good buy and product here. We ordered a flush mount lantern and found the instructions were completely wrong. First, the included ball nuts aren't even needed. throw them away Secondly, the instructions say that the screws must be hidden in the ceiling box. This is incorrect and wastes a lot of time! Install the mounting screws by threading them into the mounting plate, then take the bracket and slide it up towards the ceiling so the screw heads are protruding from the top of the…

Difficult to install and small tears in fabric

I have installed many flush mount lights in our home and this was the most difficult with completely useless instructions. Most flush mounts use long screws that you screw up vertically so the flat heads hang down so you can line up a pair of light holes. This light, on the other hand, is intentionally turned upside down so you can screw in a small ball like nuts. First problem, the long screws are very unstable as they wiggle when hung, so aligning the holes was more difficult than I thought…
