Pretty great opener

Can't comment on the battery life as I've only tried it on 2 cans. This little opener is pretty amazing. It works by itself. I bought this for my mom because she has very bad arthritis and can't use a regular can opener. It's so easy I'm sure she'll love this bottle opener!

First shipment Cans not opened

Looks good, battery compartment easy to open and insert batteries. Bypasses the glass, does not stop or cut the glass. It would be great if it worked. I have returned this product and have not ordered again. I was pleased and amazed to receive a free replacement from the company based on my review. We don't open that many cans, but the replacement has been working fine for two, three months. So my updated grade is C for quality control and A for customer service.

So happy with it! in Electric

Used twice and works great! Easy. Rotates 360 degrees and stops by itself - watch the video. Thanks to the magnet system, the lid is lifted by simply lifting the device - see image. No touches, no cuts. But if you put your fingers on the top of the glass, it won't be sharp. Another cool thing is that if you don't use the entire contents of the jar you can just put the lid back on and it fits perfectly as a lid.

Functional and fun electric can opener

Kitchen Mama is a brand to keep an eye on! I like the feel and ease of use more than the Black & Decker we've used. The only negative for me, 4 AA batteries? Let's see if they run out quickly. The use and care guide states that if they are having problems, "the batteries may already be dead”. Hm? The B&D snaps into a cradle that charges it. I'm surprised I overlooked that it runs on batteries. But it's okay, there are always double fives in the remote control. I have to say the customer service

KITCHEN MAMA ONE NOT ONLY DOESN'T OPEN LARGE CANS BUT LEAVES SHARP POINTS ON NORMAL CANS

I thought I finally found an electric can opener to replace my favorite chef's Star Smooth Edge automatic electric can opener (which is larger not available), but when I tried to open a large can with my new Kitchen Mama One Touch electric can opener, it took me a few tries and opening sections before I finally got the lid off. But not being able to open a large can was just the beginning of my problems with this can opener. When I tried to open a regular sized vegetable can, it stalled twice…
