I love the KitchenAid 5 cup chopper. I have 3.5 cups and when making salsa I always had to do it in two batches. Everything fits in a 5cc. The bowl is easy to attach and I love that the heart rate function is on the lid. Very efficient.

Disappointed with the design of this product. The size of the container is just right, but taking the lid off and on is very awkward! Terrible lock design. Overall the chopper is well made and the bowl size is perfect, but the bowl and lid were killer. The item has been returned. No recommendation.

I've been using it for about 3 months to prepare baby food and I've just seen it scraping part of the nozzle and I have it just noticed now and it's mixing with my kid's food. I removed the plastic that was sticking out before taking the photos because I was so frustrated that I wanted to take photos. It's awful, just awful.

good product. The only downside is that the pouring cup (when in the device) can easily rotate if you're not careful, making the device non-functional for safety reasons. Make sure you turn the "Pour Cup with Handle" fully into the locked position each time you put it back into the appliance. Once you learn how to put on and take off the cap, it becomes pretty easy (in response to the bad reviews of the cap).

The exterior of the KitchenAid kitchen grinder is made entirely of plastic. The shredding function works much better than my other small shredder. KitchenAid cuts vegetables into more even pieces with less pulp. I also like whiskey. I found the bowl more difficult to use and put in place for use. I'm sure I'll get used to it, but it doesn't seem easy. There are many nooks and crannies that need clearing once completed. I have just received a 5 cup chopper. Haven't used it yet but I've had trouble shopping. 1) The base is made of plastic. Everything is plastic except for the blades. 2) Color choices are limited. I chose grey. Version 3.5 has some very nice colors not found in the 5 cup grinder. The gray chopper kinda matches my other gray KA gear, but it's clearly plastic and cheap looking.
