Mixes well, but like a genuine KitchenAid product.

Blends well but like a true KitchenAid product it needs to fit the shape of the bowl exactly and only skips stains, doesn't scratch the bottom well (and yes, the height is set correctly). It should be cheaper for what it is, even as a standard accessory included with the blender. And yes, it fits the Costco KitchenAid 600 Professional Stand Mixer with Rising Bowl.

Not suitable for all models!

I bought this for my Kitchen Aid 6 liter professional blender. Started scratching after first use. It broke to bend the edge of the whisk, and the painted metal even came loose when it hit the batter. I do NOT recommend doing this. The 5L and 7L are perfect for their mixers so I'm not sure what the problem is. But Kitchen Aid has to either make different 6-QT levels to fit all 6-quart models, or create one that works with all. Don't even use this whisk for this.

Bought this for my wife's new blender. She loves it. It scrapes the edges of the bowl when stirring. Just be careful if you buy any of these from other third parties. The first one we found was an older discontinued model and when we called Kitchenaid we were told not to use it or risk damaging the blender. This is the latest version and works with Kitchenaid 6 liter blenders. Note that even this blender makes noise when running in an empty bowl. Kitchenaid removed the spring that used to hold…

REQUIRED: Kitchen & Dining

I ordered this without being absolutely sure it would fit my new KP26M9XCER KitchenAid 6L Bowl Lifter that I bought from Costco. It fits perfectly and works like a charm! This is my first KitchenAid stand mixer and I didn't like the idea of stopping the machine to scrape the sides like the flat beater in the box did. I was mixing a sausage recipe in a box with a whisk and had the same problem. I'll get a knock on the door when this baby is born! I immediately put these on the screw adjustment…

Verified by KitchenAid Customer Service - Fits KP25M0X

I am buying this Flexible Beater for the 5 liter KitchenAid Professional 5 Plus Stand Mixer with Lift Bowl that I purchased from Sam's Club. At first I was hesitant because the bowl that came with the blender was 5 liters. I contacted KitchenAid and they confirmed that this whisk will fit my blender. I think it will be helpful for other people considering buying this. For reference, the model number of the mixer at Sam's Club is KP25M0X. I originally bought another flexible mallet but sent it…

Works surprisingly well

I bought a cheaper but good quality non-KitchenAid metal whip. It had silicone/rubber on both sides of the paddle. It seemed to work better than Kitchenaid. Surprisingly, this isn't the case, and Kitchenaid works much better. The third-party whisk looks just like a regular Kitchenaid whisk, except for the silicone on both edges. Turns out it doesn't work well. If you're trying to mash something like guacamole, the flexible lip just presses down on the avocado instead of slicing it, rather than…

tl; dr metal vs plastic. one-time purchase.

tl; drmetal or plastic. Buy once instead of having to buy another one at some point. Fewer scratches on the blade. Less wear and tear on the KitchenAid motor. After 8 years the plastic on top started to tear. KitchenAid didn't have a product like it 8 years ago, but now they have, which is why I chose it. Advantages: 1) Made of metal, not plastic. Enough said. Yes, it took over 8 years for my mixer blade to crack, but this KitchenAid Flex Edge Mixer should last a lifetime. 2) There is a…
