think a cheaper one will work just as well

but i'm very pleased with it. the directions are bs. i googled a you tube video to figure out how to get it to suction, but i'm quite pleased with the sealer. i tested food in the freezer (steaks) and fridge (rib tips). both lasting well. good product.

Pros
  • Muy buena factura, igual a lo publicado, funciona perfecto.
Cons
  • The sealer may not work with certain types of bags

I purchased this product twice and for both of them they looked perfectly fine. Suction was great however the bag wouldn't seal. I noticed a bubble on seal line on the bag so I looked at the heating element/strip that melts the plastic creating the seal. Sure enough there was a raised portion in that spot of the element and it was burning through the bag and causing a incomplete seal. I returned it and bought a second one and got the same thing except the defect in the heating element/strip was

Pros

So far so good it works great

I bought this to replace the one that I had previously buy Foodsaver. I’ll let you know after I use it. The food saver last for eight years. I will let you know how this one works - I also bought the protection plan For three years 😎

Pros
  • Prevents freezer burn on frozen food
Cons
  • It may not be as effective if air is trapped inside bags beforehand

Strong, fast sealing, and does the same job for less money.

I have owned vacuum sealers costing hundreds of dollars. Other than cutting and storing bag material, this unit does compare with the more expensive unit for speed and ease of use. Dollar for dollar why spend three to four times more for a unit that offers very little advantage? I use my KitchenBoss for freezing individual meals, sealing foods for cooking with my Sous Vide, and packing treats for brown bag lunches. Solidly built, small for storage, and large enough to handle the same sealing…

Pros
  • Saves space in refrigerator and freezer
Cons
  • The vacuum function may take longer than expected to remove air

Okay so far - my new review

Even after following the instructions, in order for it to do anything, I have to just keep pressing buttons. Obviously this is not the best solution but that's the only way it works. In order for the seal only, I have to press and HOLD the button until the flash. For the actual vac, it's a toss up. After a few vacs, it worked just pressing the button once. But a MAJORITY of the time, I was just pressing buttons until it worked. Personally, I can manage with this, but I'm sure most people won't…

Pros
  • Easy to clean with a removable drip tray
Cons
  • It may not work as well on food with strong odors or flavors

Good Little Sucker!

I had a FoodSaver for years but it took up a bit of space on the counter. I love the size of this one. Works very well for my needs.

Pros
  • Safely seals marinades into meat or vegetables
Cons
  • The bags may be difficult to re-use or recycle

SUPER BUMMED with this product.

I bought the first unit, which was the original sealer. It worked awesome for about half a year, and a half. No wet food option, but it worked well with steaks, and food i wanted to put in the freezer. Then one day, all of a sudden it stopped working. Wouldn’t power up, nothing.I contacted customer service, and they offered me a discount off a new unit, which I thought was very fair as I used mine for a while without issue. I figured the new one would last, and not have any issues. So I got the…

Pros
  • Small Appliances
Cons
  • The sealer may require frequent re-adjustments or maintenance

This freezer sealer is simple to use and does a great job! But the gallon bags! You will need them. I am thrilled I can pull out of freezer a fresh meal in minutes to serve or have ready for company or to take to others!Easy as 1,2,3!

Pros
  • Vacuum bags are BPA-free for added safety
Cons
  • The device may malfunction with prolonged use

Pros
  • Compact size makes it easy to take on camping trips or vacations

Love this model.: my feedback

I love this one. Much easier to use than my old one and takes up half the space. I like the "inch" button where you can take out just a little air at a time. Really handy for wetter items. You can also seal without vacuum. This particular brand also seals closer to the edge of the bag which means you use less. I can now use pint bags for a lot of my food prep instead of quart bags.

Pros
  • Corded Electric
Cons
  • The device may be noisy or disruptive for those working in close proximity
