The controllers are ok in my opinion because the controller is ok except for 2 issues. 1 controller sensitivity is too high, like in Donkey Kong 64, your character will go crazy. 2 Joystick falls off for some reason.

Bought to replace a pair of original N64 controllers that had seen better days and had joysticks that were barely held. or problems with buttons or compatibility with games. A great buy if you're looking to replace some of your old controllers that are on their last legs.

These controllers work great. My old ones were so worn out they couldn't be used anymore and these ones completely bought them out. They work just as well and I haven't noticed any issues like lag or freezes. The only minor complaint is that they felt slightly different in my hands as they were unbranded. Before I write anything, I want to get that straight. This is a great cheap alternative to genuine n64 controllers. That being said, you get what you pay for with these controllers. The plastic is incredibly cheap, as is the design of the controller. It has a more modern analog joystick which is an improvement over the old joystick, but the buttons are loose and can (and will) lose contact with the circuit board with prolonged use.
