I really like my debut B6 Elac but I wanted a little different sound and maybe better sound quality. Without making Elacs feel bad, they are good at labeling crates. Slightly more dynamic, higher pitched, wider soundstage. The horn doesn't scream, the mids aren't restrained, the bass isn't overwhelming or anemic. It goes well with rock, blues, jazz or classical. Live acoustic recordings are played indoors. Great with a good digital but better with a decent vinyl setup. Really efficient. Emotiva

Bought a Klipsch RP-600M to replace Usher S-520 speakers which developed a defect in the bass cone (after over a decade of regular use). Usher speakers had a warmth that Klipsch lacks. Instead, to my ears, the Klipsch are neutral or even slightly bright in the high frequencies. However, the RP-600M is extremely balanced across the audio spectrum. Not as good as reviewers think. Advantages: 1. Very efficient. They can be powered by any decent amplifier or receiver2. Very Dynamic3 Affordable4. They make rocks. Cons: 1. When compared directly to Tekton Lores (comparable price), SVS Ultras and a few relatively inexpensive NHT SuperOnes, they are much worse at high and mid frequency resolution.
