Great Sound - Speakers

The sound quality is amazing. I'm so glad I got them with Atmos speakers. My only complaint is that the instructions that come with the speakers are terrible, but the sound more than makes up for it.

Klipsch is the best quality for the money

Got them for $880 each, well worth it! Really good bass response and definitely loud enough for 100+ watts. Atmos works well too. If you want good speakers that will last the next 10 years, get them!

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • So far so good

You get what you pay for

Incredible sound in every way. For best performance, make sure your receiver has enough power to drive them (I like the Yamaha105 amp). but I recommend it anyway, even if your reception is a bit lower. it still sounds fantastic. You can always update this later.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Good but not great

Great sound worth every penny

Sounds absolutely amazing. It was a great purchase. I think I'll order a subwoofer anyway, but the light and mids are so crisp it makes me feel like I'm in a movie. The bass is good but I just want a little more punch so I just ordered a 15". I'll give my opinion when I get it and deserve it.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Amazing sound and quality

Excellent sound and quality when using XPA3 for center and front channels. For those considering LSIM - don't do it. Klipsch works much better and doesn't require overheating the amp, giving much better sound and quality. Combined with Dolby Surround (AV driven) these things are amazing and you can easily tell the quality from the LSIM line of products.

  • Everything is fine!

Fantastic sound!

These speakers are a vast improvement over the previous ones. The sound quality in my home theater is the same or even better than in an IMAX theater. The ATMOS sound effect can definitely be heard. The sound is crystal clear and distortion-free, even when the volume is turned up. They are also very attractive in my family room. In addition, they are very heavy and solidly processed. I would definitely buy these speakers again.

Pros
  • The Best in Their Niche
Cons
  • Some Difficulties

Very impressed with the staging

I switched to these from a B&W 602 bookshelf. The main difference is that these 6080s have more detail and drum separation. The reproduction of brass and strings is characterized by greater depth and density. I had to boost the bass on the receiver for 3 seconds from neutral on the B&W to get the full effect. It took about 3 listening sessions to get the surround settings perfect in my 5.1.2 setup. This pair is like buying 4 speakers for the price of 2. No regrets.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Almost OK

This company sucks!

I bought it as a gift for my kids and husband as we don't go to the theater at all. I bought two of these speakers and six months later one of them blew. We have two small children and the speakers are in a relatively small room, so of course we don't turn up the volume. I have contacted Klipsch and still not heard from them and it has been 20 days. I tried calling, filling out their online form and emailing them. I only received an automated reply, nothing else. Please save yourself thousands…

Pros
  • handy thing
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Clarity and precision without harshness

My first impression is that these are very impressive speakers. You can easily fill a large room with accurate and clear sound. They represent a significant improvement over the Klipsch RP-160M bookshelf speakers for large room applications. There is none of the brightness or harshness commonly associated with titanium tweeters. They are not warm, but not without warmth. They are just very clear and impressive. I would call them midrange speakers. They're more expensive than, say, Pioneer…
