The product description on the Revain page shows a bracket to attach to a belt sander table. I received two of them and neither of them came with a mount. I mentioned this in a previous review and many respondents said it simply attaches to the grinder. I tried it and it's too unreliable to use. I'm sending it back to Revain and looking elsewhere for a similar product.

I originally bought this item as a spare for my Work Sharp 3000 and am pleasantly surprised in every way! When it comes to sharpening knives, this angle gauge is the right answer to many questions, especially about beginner knife sharpeners. And to top it all off, the company answers questions promptly and completely. The product is reasonably priced, works exactly as advertised, and is backed by a service that's almost out of the blue.

The guide is simple, easy to install, but the direction of the sanding belt moves away from the guide with a force created between the Strap and the knife that pulls the knife and makes it difficult to control the angle. I found that by using the area of the abrasive belt above the guide it was much easier to control the knife while sharpening and it was easy to see the angle of the guide and the side of the knife to adjust the angle for an even sharpening to maintain . This tool fits my vertical grinder but there are many problems when it comes to sharpening knives or similar. The biggest problem is that the grinder vibrates normally, which loosens the set screws on the side. You have to keep stopping to retighten the set screws. Another problem is holding the object you want to sharpen against the sharpener. There's nowhere to securely attach the knife, so it's really freehand sharpening, which isn't the goal here.
