never really liked them

I've only used them a few times and now they have curved tips. Tips have never made things easier for little clips. pull out.

Very disappointed. on snap ring pliers

This is for FPV and drone pilots: Not small enough for 2204 and larger motors/C-Clamps. The material at the ends of the snap rings is not strong. Bent and broken both with very little effort. Very disappointed.

Best Circlip Pliers

Well designed & high quality products; However, they are small and designed for snap rings on shafts from 1/16" to 1 3/16" (1.5-4mm) in diameter. Tip 3/64" (0.9mm).

Good quality and the locking screw is excellent so you.

Just what I needed for some 4mm clips. I ended up damaging a few clips when trying to use thin nosed pliers. Good quality and great locking screw so you don't pull out and ruin your clips.

They make maintenance of brushless motors fast and reliable.

Excellent quality with intelligent stop adjustment so you don't overload the locking ring by overstretching. I build FPV racing quadcopters and many of the brushless motors I use have snap rings on the main shafts. If you regularly service these motors, you should be able to successfully remove these clips without losing or damaging them. This tool does exactly that. I have not lost or damaged the clip since receiving them. They make maintenance of brushless motors fast and reliable.

Highly recommended tool for brushless circlips and circlips

I would recommend this Knipex circlip removal/installation tool to anyone looking for a tool for their small external rotors! I've browsed the RC pages to look at the tools people were using, but none of them had the sharp nose I needed. With a bit of luck I came across this snap ring puller from Knipex. The tip of the needle is made of chrome vanadium alloy, strong enough for small snap rings. Just don't throw them on the floor. ;-) The adjustment screw on the tool is a great feature to keep…

Protective Tip

I was a little disappointed to see that the tip was bent when I pulled it out. But seriously, the packaging is just bubble wrap. Because it is a precision instrument, it may break during transportation. Yes, I can probably bend it in place. It might even work in this state. But I don't want to risk breaking off the tips, and the fact that I spent $29 on a German instrument versus $6 on a Chinese one, I want something that doesn't require modification.
