If Knipex made water I would drink it. like Snap On, Southwire, greenlee, and only Klein really comes close. the best pliers manufacturer around world and these are by far the coolest and most powerful dykes in the store.

I've been an electrician for 24 years and prefer the Knipex diagonal cutters, this is my 3rd pair. The first pair was chewed by the customer's dog and the second pair was simply burned. Neither was a quality issue. I bought this pair through JB Tools and had an issue with FedEx shipping to the wrong house. But I ordered this on Friday at 2:30am and got a notification for shipping at 4am and on Saturday at 2am it was close as 2 houses. Good tool, cool seller, FedEx, not very good.

The quality is absolutely excellent, however the unit I received had a few issues. 1) The rivet is not flush with the surrounding metal when the pliers are fully open. I'm not sure if it's because they have a tilted head making it difficult or if it's just a quality control issue. 2) After about 10 cuts of 14 gauge wire, I can see light shining through the blades when the wire cutters are fully closed. High comfort. Better than anything I've ever had with a comfortable grip. I like how it feels in the hand and during operation. BUT the cutting performance did not convince me. My small tools have a red handle for a comfortable grip. Much better for slicing, like butter. I see a lot of comments about these Knipex dams lasting longer than their little ones.
