I was looking for a good set of aluminum needles and I found it. They're smooth and light, and the ends are pretty sharp. The colors are pleasant; and although I will eventually put these needles in my needle jar, the case is good and keeps them safe in my pocket. I haven't had them long enough to critique their durability, but I think they'll last quite a while.

Really wanted these. The price was reasonable and the size range was great. BUT - the tips are SQUARE! Why would anyone make square-tipped needles anyway? This makes knitting unnecessarily difficult without snagging the yarn. I am an experienced knitter and the design of these pieces is by far the worst I have come across. Too bad because they are strong and beautiful. But just not functional with the top design. I am back.

I usually knit with circular needles or purl stitches, but I chose this set. I use size 10 to make a scarf. The scarf is a mix of different techniques and skills, some I've done before and some I've never done before. These needles are comfortable to use. They are well balanced and feel good in the hand. There was a small learning curve. I'm not used to the needle sticking out extra long, but I make sure to use it for projects like shawl halters. I loved the feel of the Zing needles so much…
