WHY choose our knitting kit - the join of the needle & cables are smooth and sturdy. Not break easily or snag yarns like other products. US size marked. Others only have mm marked and you have to measure. The kit includes 6 pairs - Size 15, 11, 9, 7, 5, 2. Each needle tip is 5.75" long. The tube is 28" long. Total length is 40" long, nice for bigger knit projects, like tank tops, scarfs, sweaters, blanket. WHY CHOOSE STAINLESS STEEL CIRCULAR NEEDLES - super light and provide a smooth ride for your stitches. The circular knitting needles are stainless steel with semi-pointy tips. The cord is a hollow tubing. The tube structure makes these the best for knitting in the round with two circular needles. The tube is only slightly thinner than the needles so you don't get super-tight stitches near the end of the needles, and the tubes are wonderfully floppy and don't get in the way of your hands. Very natural feeling once you get used to the steel tubing. Works great for so many knit sizes. There is a steel odor to the cord. After hanging the needles and allowing them to air out, they are just as good as the high dollar versions in craft shops.

Not true to size! best spokes

well i thought i could write that they are 40 inch but not all. Some are US size without mm and some are mm without US size. But the worst thing is that they are not all true to size. They vary in size from 2mm to 4mm. For some of my projects it doesn't matter, but for most it does, so it's a big problem. For example, my US11 should be 8mm, which is 7.5mm. My US 13 should be 9mm which is 8.6. My US 15, 10mm is 9.6mm. I don't know about you, but I think this is a big problem!

They are still being made!

I changed crochet to knit. Everywhere I hear people wish they had made them, they were popular with newbies. Update: after 2 days they seem to be the best for beginners. The seams don't slip like they do with aluminum and the curve helps too. More even stitches and you won't end up with such a wobbly, huge last stitch. The 40-inch cable is not interchangeable and, surprisingly, doesn't get in the way. I won't go back to aluminum, the stitches on it slide just right at the right tension. These…

The previous reviews are for a different product and are misleading.

I was a little confused by the reviews about these unnecessary ones and I should have read them more carefully. The reviews are about bamboo needles with plastic line, not steel needles with steel line. I tried using them to create a magic loop and found that the steel cable was too stiff to create a streamlined knit. I've tried loosening the cables a bit but haven't noticed any difference so far. I'm relatively new to knitting so I find these needles very difficult to work with. Maybe someone…

Great price and great quality.

What a great price! The set is actually made of stainless steel. They are of excellent quality and the cords are attached very well and do not kink. The best thing about them is that they aren't super smooth and the tips aren't super sharp so they hurt your fingertips. I am very happy with them. Order to top up but question about length

Just got it and as a beginner I'm still trying out yarn and needles. I found I liked the feel of wood or plastic and wanted to invest in inexpensive materials.
