Works well. I keep the first one I bought in a backyard shack that I don't use for a year. When it came time to use it, it fell apart. I think the high summer temperatures hurt him.

Someone gave me an old 1969 Sears Kenmore shoeshine/scrubber. These brushes fit perfectly but unfortunately my day off is ruined because I had to spend it cleaning carpets lol.

The brushes are too soft for any type of carpet cleaning I went back and used wood style floor brushes instead of soft nylon bristles. can work well on wool or thin carpets, but not on thick Berber synthetic carpets.

This product is made from cheaper materials than the version found in the original machine. This creates obvious cracks in the plastic which can make use dangerous if not caught early. Unfortunately, since there are no suitable alternatives, this makes us think about buying a new shampoo, which shouldn't be.

I bought these brushes to clean dirty carpets. I was planning on converting the brush to a 5/8 x 11 thread auto polisher and was pleasantly surprised that with a little effort I was able to screw the brush onto the polisher without the conversion. I thoroughly cleaned the carpet in a few places with the polisher brush before using a rental carpet cleaner. It worked very well.
