⏺️ Kodak 50300 DVD-R 16x - 100 Pack for High-quality Digital Storage Review

Of all the blank DVDs I've used, these Kodak discs had the lowest error rate - maybe one in a few or a few hundred. I use them in a standalone Philips HD/DVD recorder and they work great. I just hope they are chemically well developed enough that they don't spontaneously eat themselves before I die.

Waste of money. The following can happen during recording: It's recording and when you try to play or finalize the disc, you get a message that the disc is incompatible or that there is a problem with the disc. The problem cannot be resolved. According to the player, the program was recorded but not on the disc. Sometimes you will succeed. I tried about 30 drives out of 100, 17 of them ended up in the trash. I have used the same machine with other brands and have never had so many problems.

Already burned about 30 discs except 4 discs looked scratched and dirty from the cylinder itself. I used two of them in VOD titles and they were cut at the end of the film. It's strange that I haven't had any problems with Kodak DVD+R DL discs, but I don't buy -R SL discs anymore.

I really couldn't find any "pro reviews" ie. in the Kodak DVD trade magazines, so I chose another and then only one as a guide. Sure it's over a year and a half old but I felt it was worth it for the price. I'm glad I did. They're well packaged and work perfectly with my DVD burner, and unlike many DVDs, which take up a lot of manufacturer labels on the front, this one doesn't: the Kodak name is only on the two small sides of the circle, leaving it wider areas for your letter. The price was right but the quality was terrible. Even at the slowest burn speeds, these blanks had so many bugs that I will never buy them again. The after-sales service for this product is almost non-existent while other companies support their product and respond if anyone has a problem. Kodak not.

So far 4 out of 10 drives have failed. I thought it was my gear until I took it to a friend and she experienced the same thing as me. I'm not exactly sure what's wrong with them yet, but I want to warn people - don't buy these discs! You are nothing but the waist of time. And the worst thing is that you have to try everything you do and some of them work for a while and then fail. Garbage! Not happy at all!
