Whilst I have not used this product this is clearly a great end mill. I expect this product to last a long time. Unless I choose to cut diamonds with it. Then all bets are void :-))

After about 8, maybe 9 or so 3/4" plunge cuts in 7075 aluminum, the end mill was gone. Classic rounding of intersections with non-standard material. The price will have you thinking otherwise, but don't be fooled. This one Purchase was very disappointing and I only found out after the return window closed 3 weeks ago.$30 price with $8 performance and claims to be made in the US I don't think so.Lazy online shopping finally got me !

This is what you need when making 80% lower AR. Great beat! Just the right length and diameter. The advantage of a carbide drill, in addition to strength, is that the cutting diameter and the shank are the same size. So if you're using a jig, don't cut anything else. That's good for aluminum. The length of this bit is critical when using an AR mount as it is long enough to fit the collet while still clearing the buffer tube threads and reaching the required depth. Used for Alum 7075 and 6061.
