Not cheap, but this one works.

I bought a $3 lettering guide at an art store. The wheel moved so easily that it could not be used without securing the wheel with tape. Not the best solution if you want to quickly change the size of the letters. With this it is made better and the wheel can be mounted without tape. It wasn't the cheapest solution, but it works.

Pros
  • Engineering Drawing Supplies
Cons
  • New Competitors Arrived

Pay money for a brand and you won't regret it.

I first bought one of the cheapest writing guides thinking it's just a little piece of plastic, they're all the same, are they really more than $5? But this wheel didn't stay in place while drawing the lines, so it was useless. So I went back to eat the crow and bought the more expensive brand name one and it works great. The wheel stops and all is right with the world.

Pros
  • Office supplies
Cons
  • Big and bulky
